Our Founder's Journey
Meet Mr. Ravi Khandelwal, the visionary behind VASVI. With a childhood dream to start his own business, Ravi overcame obstacles and persevered. After completing engineering studies and working at Dell, he pursued an MBA from Pune. Armed with bookish knowledge, he gained practical experience in an electric equipment manufacturing company.
The Turning Point
Ravi's cousin, Mr. Vishnu Koolwal, mentored him in the clothing business. With 7-8 months of hands-on training, Ravi launched VASVI in 2011 with 10 machines. The first order came from Koolwal & Companies, and the journey began.
Today's Success
Through hard work and dedication, VASVI now:
- Manufactures ladies' ethnic wear with 400-450 machines
- Sells products through renowned retailers
- Operates 5 stores across India (Jaipur, Mumbai, Mandi, and Sikar)
- Is available online on Myntra and other platforms
- Launched its official website, vasvi.in, in December 2024
Inspiration and Support
Ravi draws inspiration from Late Sir Ratan Tata. His family, including father Shri. RN Gupta, mother Mrs. Radha Gupta, and wife Mrs. Richa Khandelwal, have been constant sources of support and guidance.
